New Supervision Group forming this summer, to start some time in June,

meeting weekly on Wed. evenings at 7pm-8:30pm.

This supervision group in my art studio/office will focus on both

non-verbal and verbal exploration and processing of

countertransference and other clinical

issues as well as the challenges of working in particular sites,

dealing with going out on the job market, as well as starting a

private practice.

Artmaking using a wide variety of materials as a form of exploration

and connection with the group will be emphasized.

This group will welcome those just starting their careers as well as

people starting some new phase of their career, such as private

practice. Creative arts therapists working in other modalities, such

as music, dance, drama, as well as social workers and psychoanalysts

interested in expressive art therapy are encouraged to attend as well.

If you are unemployed currently, or between jobs, you can join

the group to connect with others in the field, network, and explore

your current challenges.

Studio located downtown in Tribeca.

Please contact me at natashart@... for more info and to

arrange a private meeting.

Natasha Shapiro, LCAT, ATR-BC is an art therapist in private practice

and an active exhibiting visual artist as well as an Advanced Reiki

Practitioner.

She also has extensive experience leading and co-leading workshops

combining meditation and artmaking and currently runs a weekly art

workshop.
