Hello Everyone! At long last, we have a date, time and space for our first Westchester CAT Meeting. I thank everyone for your patience (clearly I will need some help keeping these going from here on out). Based on everyone's responses to my questions, it seems that there are a variety of levels of experience, work settings, needs, and interests. Therefore, I think it is best that we all get together and begin to formulate what will be the best use of the group. Vitalah Simon has generously offered the use of her studio for our first meeting, which seems large enough to accomodate everyone. Our first meeting will be held on Sunday, May 18 from 3:30-5:30. Directions to Yogashine studio appear below. Feel free to invite other Creative Arts Therapists who may not be included on the list. This first meeting will be more of a meet and greet/ networking opportunity, as well as a chance to brainstorm regarding the format and function of future meetings. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend, or are unable to attend this meeting but would like to be included on the email list for future meetings. 7-11 Legion Drive (near Kensico Dam) Valhalla, NY 10595 From the north, heading south on Bronx River Pkwy:Go 1.8 miles past s Ave; at traffic light, turn LEFT into the town of Valhalla, come to stop sign. At stop sign, turn LEFT. Go .2 mile, past Citgo station and up to firehouse.**From the south, heading north on the Bronx River Pkwy:Just past the Kensico Dam, on the parkway heading north, at traffic light, turn RIGHT into the town of Valhalla, come to a stop sign. At stop sign, turn LEFT. Go .2 mile, past CITGO station and up to firehouse.**

From the east, heading west on I-287:Take exit 7, continue on road to traffic light (Super Stop & Shop is on your right). Continue through light gently bearing right, heading north on Rte. 22. Get in left lane. At next light, take LEFT FORK. Continue on road, passing Kensico Dam, stay in right lane. Go through the town of Valhalla, past gas station and animal hospital, up to firehouse.**

** At firehouse, turn LEFT on to Legion Drive, go over bridge, make first LEFT, a back left hairpin turn, on to an offshoot of Legion Drive called also Legion Drive. The road slopes down hill. Almost immediately you will come to a mustard-colored building on your left, it's the only building on your left and YogaShine Studio is in this building. Park to the left of the building; ignore the tow-away signs. Enter at 2nd doorway; ring buzzer. YogaShine Studio is on the 2nd floor, to your right.

From the south, heading north on the Sprain Brook Parkway:Exit at Eastview, turn RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp on to Grasslands Road. Go 1.1 mile, turn LEFT on to Legion Drive. Go .4 mile, passing cemetery entrance on right, then past Road on right, then make your next RIGHT, a diagonal right turn on to an offshoot of Legion Drive called also Legion Drive. The road slopes down hill. Almost immediately you will come to a mustard-colored building on your left, it's the only building on your left and YogaShine Studio is in this building. Park to the left of the building; ignore the tow-away signs. Enter at 2nd doorway; ring buzzer. YogaShine Studio is on the 2nd floor, to your right.
