Since March Nurses have been coming daily to do wound care. Welp.

last week it was decided they were CLOSED..fragile tissue but closed.

They covered the areas w/tegaderm which will slough off or I can change

the dressing if I see to do so. In the beginning they used " saf-Gel " DO

NOT...DO NOT...use this on PG!!! it has a minimal debridment in the mix

and it left me SCREAMING!!! The Primary Care Dr still didn't know the

best treament and left it to the nurse to suggest a wound dressing. I

TOLD them " Dermagran " at the first visit but...

When the Wound Doc found this out he was

unhappy...we discussed using " Dermagran " and he liked that but had to

order some. Till it came in he used " Multi-Dex " ...good stuff too. It

has a honey mix in it and it forms a " taffy like " cover and just

slides right off with no pain. In the end the dermagran was used, which

I had great success w/the last episode (36 PG lesions). This time 21

showed thier happy faces. I have now moved on to Remicade Therapy 1st 2

weeks ago and had another yesterday. X-fingers!!!
