Guest guest
The poor girl already has hepatitis, non contagious form of it, breed specific. Poor baby has had a rough life, but lots of love that is for sure. Hope Walter is fine. Should a cat eat tomatoes? They say they are toxic for dogs. Plus the acid in the sauce could really hurt his tummy. Do cats eat cottage cheese or plain yogurt? It is easy on a dogs tummy, but cats are different. Rice and turkey or chicken? Her lump is sort of soft. I guess another trip to vets, earlier I paid almost 700 for xrays of her back and neck. Not to mention the every month cost of treating the CAH (canine active hepatitis) But she is my baby! Debbie I too am wondering if Walter has cancer or a tumor. He throws up somuch. Finally he had a decent appetite today and of all things wantedto eat sardines with tomato sauce. Then he threw up several hoursafterwards. We have another vet visit tomorrow and I will ask if heshould be on more regular steriods or if he should have digestiveenzymes. I wish there was a simple test to see if he had a tumour. He's too thin and weak to undergo invasive tests. I agree that the stress of a sick pet is horrible. I wake at theslightest noise. I think I can hear a cat throw up in the next county. This is not helping my EN, but everything centers around Walter now. As far as the lump you feel on your dog, it could be a granuloma. Mycat Marty had that and it was totally benign. He lived 3 years afterit's removal and died at age 16 which is age 80 for a human. Also a friend's dog, Buster a big blockhead lab had a very large lumpremoved from his side and he is fine now. It may be easy to biopsy ifyou can feel it.Hang in there!Love, Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.

Guest guest
I think love counts for a lot. I never fed a cat tomatoes but saw online a post about how the cats loved it. And my girlfriend said her pets loved it too, so I gave it a try. All was fine until Walter threw up, But he throws everything up it seems. He went a week without throwing up, but also had not eaten much. Right now I am feeding him Gerbers baby food turkey and he did eat about 1/3 of a jar. Here is a good link about lumps on pets:http://www.thepetcenter.com/exa/lumps.htmlI doubt my vet has an MRI machine.Considering how much the vet bills are costing you, you are to be commended for contributing so much to our EN Research Fund.I guess it is a matter of priorities. Those who really want to find a cure find a way to contribute.Hang in there!Love,Please enter Erythema Nodosum.........Thanks!Donation Information No Cost - Get a month of Blockbuster Total Access now. Guest guest
Thanks ni, Walter saw the vet again today and we are giving him low dose prednisolone as well as thyroid pills. He just ate some homemade chicken soup and is grooming himself in the garden. He is on so many meds, but he is good and knows when he is being helped. Steve and I give him lots of cuddle time and he is enjoying it. He is hiding his thinness under a beautiful coat. I have a 24 hour vet emergency clinic I can take him to if he needs to be put to sleep. I will not let him suffer. Love,
