Guest guest
Hi Lou, I am so sorry to hear that! Have you been sleeping well lately? I ask because subjectively when I am not able to sleep [as recently waking up all hours to care for my oldest cat] my EN flares up worse than ever. It is as if I am in a very precarious balance as long as I get enough rest, but if I am not able to sleep enough or if I am stressed out worse than normal, the EN has the upper hand and only regaining my composure and getting decent sleep can tip the scales in my favor. Don't be discouraged. You will find a way to get into remission with whatever combo of drugs or other treatment work for you. Love, idio. Guest guest
Hi Lou, For me Sleep is the true elixir of life. I haven't had a good nite's sleep since Walter our cat took ill. He seems to have turned the corner yesterday with improved appetite. Still I seem to listen to his every move in the the night and last night he started to snore which he never did before. I hope that is a good sign. I am sure " Mommies " hear sounds that other people don't. I can hear cat throwing up in the next county in my sleep. One thing of EN interest is that while I normally have EN outbreaks of only one or two nodes, this time I have about 7! I think that these are all in places that were nodes many years ago--maybe dating from my first EN outbreak nearly 40 yrs ago! Since I doubt anyone has been biopsied once the nodes clear, maybe the damage and granuloma material never really leaves the tissue. Anyway, that is how it seems to me. And it would mean that all of us idiopathic members who ever had EN are prone to flare ups in the future. Love, idio. EN '
