Guest guest
Dear Colleagues, Celebrate Creative Arts Therapies Week (March 9 – 15) with confidence and ease! Village Playback Theatre Company offers an ideal way to acknowledge and elevate our field, our talents, and our contributions. We provide a unique experience of live music, drama and movement in a structured and highly engaging program. During our performance or training workshops, we invite audience members or participants to offer their thoughts, reactions, or feelings to questions. We begin by eliciting one word responses and culminate in sharing true life experiences. Each story is received with curiosity, empathy, sensitivity and awareness of the storyteller’s need to feel safe about the process. In the moment, we respond by recreating their story which is often both humorous and poignant while striving to underscore the dignity of the story’s message. Something new is created and experienced not only by the storyteller, but by all who witness it. A seemingly isolated incidence resonates with the entire audience promoting a sense of connectedness, and well, yes, a village community. Village Playback Theatre offers programs which can be tailored to your specific needs and interests, whether we are working with a client audience or providing a program for your staff or coworkers. What better way to express your gratitude than to provide a “Care for the Caregivers” program? Creative Arts Therapies Week is from Sunday, March 9 – Saturday March 15. We are able to accommodate your demanding schedule by providing programming in the mornings or afternoons, Monday – Friday. Special arrangements can also be made to present a program in the evening or weekend. If these dates don’t work for you, some organizations are honoring CAT week outside of the designated week. VPT fees are based on a sliding scale. Our company is comprised of drama, music and dance therapists with a diverse clinical experiences as well as professional actors and musicians. Don’t let this year’s CAT week slip by unheralded. Your clients, students, staff, or peers will appreciate the efforts you’ve made to acknowledge them in a significant way during Creative Arts Therapies Week. Contact us now for booking or for further information at villageplaybacktheatre@...
