Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. Location of the lesion is on the inner left leg, above the ankle. Area is approximately 5" high and 3" wide. The skin feels hard and is thinner than the rest of the leg. The color is red in some places and brown in others. There is mild swelling surrounding the entire area. It burns and changes degree of redness and swelling periodically.6. List any other health conditions. Acute case of diverticulitis two years ago, none sinceHysterectomy 8/07, due to a prolapsed uterus.7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: 8/13/07 Vanos cream, no change; 9/26/07 E-Mycin 333, no change; 11/07/07 Trental, no change; 11/16/07 Biopsy performed, confirmed erythema nodosum; 12/07/07 prescribed SSKI drops. (I have not filled or started this prescription because, since the previously prescribed medications have not worked, I wanted to learn more about this condition before I continued other medications.) 8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? I noticed a dark area on my leg in January '07 after a lengthy case of acute broncitis and a sinus infection.9.
