That must have been some moment in the parking lot. And your ER visit sounded like an eye-opener. Every time we end up there with my husband, I pray for a quiet night. Once they were reducing a dislocation in the next room, and I thought the guy was going to faint or throw up from the pain, but all he could do was scream. At least, our last visit we were the only ones in the department for the whole visit. Is there some way you can get a home health aid to help with the wound dressing? At least then you wouldn't have to bend over so much. And then the aid could help you in your search for a meaningful shape. Hang in there. It sounds like you might be back on track, but holidays can extract a toll, in more ways than one. How was the trip in the ambulance? Was it warm or cold?
