Muscle pain(?) in leg

I have another question (sorry to be bothering y'all with so many).

I had a rather large lesion on my right leg. I've been on prednisone

for about a month, so it has faded to a light bruise. However, in the

spot where the lesion had been, I'm experiencing a tremendous pain. It

hurts when I walk or even when I bend down. I'm not sure if it's a

muscle thing, a nodule thing, or something else. Has anyone else

experienced this? I'm getting used to the swelling and pain in the

ankles and joints, but this isn't near a joint, so I wasn't sure what

was happening.

I have a bit of an update...

That day, I had worn a compression brace to bring down the swelling in

my ankle. After I took it off, the horrendous pain started. I didn't

wear the brace the next day and I had little to no pain. In the past

I've had pain in that spot before, but I had never worn a compression

brace, nor had the pain ever been that bad.

I'm kinda clueless. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
