Guest guest
I justed wanted to know if there is anyone out there that has had my experience with EN. I have had EN about 1 1/2 years, and there has been little time where I have not had a flare up. My ankles always ache, they hurt and are stiff all the time, wether they are swallen or not. I have shortness of breath, I have IBS and I am tired alot. I was on predizone for a total of 5 weeks and was on potassum chloride the same amount of time, I felt terrible when I was on these meds and I gained about 40-50 lbs while I was on them. I do want to say that I quit smoking after 30 years and I was on Chantix for 4 weeks, on the third week of taking this medication, I noticed the lesions one day and ankle swelling the next morning. I don't know if it is the chantix of the fact that I was no longer smoking after 30 years. Would like some imput from others with EN. Thank you, Lackey
Guest guest
Hi , Maybe this will be of interest to you. It's about IBD, not IBS. You may have IBD which is associated with EN: http://ibdcrohns.about.com/cs/ibdfaqs/a/smokingguts.htm Wishing Everyone a Happy Labor Day Weekend! Love, idio. Guest guest
Hi , Wow! You. may be onto something here. I took Chantix after smoking for 33 years. About 2 months into it, I developed my EN. My doctor pulled me off of it. I did contact Pfizer about this, so it should be documented. You should too. I had active nodules for 1 1/2 years. I have not had nodules now for about 6 months. I still have joint aches though. This may be our trigger! I have had tons of testing and everything comes up negative. Anybody else out there have taken Chantix???? Guest guest
Hi ,IBD is one of the autoimmune disorders associated with EN. I think if all you have is constipation it is not related to your EN. Try Konsyl to get regular.Love,idio.
