Guest guest
My PCP told me she didn't really have " time " to look at my legs, to even help me try and figure out what it may be... she just told me I should go see a Dermatologist.. (I don't like my PCP very much lol). But when I think about EN... to me a Dermatologist doesn't seem like the right kind of professional to go see about this. I've had it for going on 4 years now and it's just getting a lot worse... I need to so SOMETHING about it... or at least try. anyone have any ideas about what kind of doctor I should look into? Thanks a bunch! Maeghan
Guest guest
The dermatologist is the only one who got it right for me, after going to4 different drs. He even wrote the other drs. and told them what it was. EN, and explained everthing. Guest guest
My dermatologist did the biopsy that diagnosed me with EN, but I was sent to a rheumatologist for medication and ongoing care. The rheum did most of the diagnositc lab tests and such. > My PCP told me she didn't really have "time" to look at my legs, to even> help me try and> figure out what it may be... she just told me I should go see a> Dermatologist. . Guest guest
for me the dermatoligist didn't have much new info to offer- i had already seen a rheum and he ran all sorts of tests. the derm said he would have run similar things. i think it depends on your symptoms- i have severe joint pain so a rheum was my top priority. ....sounds like you could benefit from a new PCP... Guest guest
hey everyone, i had EN too, and mine went away with taking asprin for pain, and ALOT of bedrest, oh and also support socks....and it went away on its own, the dr said its due to inflammatory bowel disease, i go for scopes in september, but my dermatologist helped me get a diagnosis, and my rhematologist told me about the bowel disease, so i hope that helps!> My PCP told me she didn't really have "time" to look at my legs, to even> help me try and> figure out what it may be... she just told me I should go see a> Dermatologist. .
