Guest guest
Hi guys, I have had EN for 2 months now. I have lots of auto-immune illnesses and it seems my EN was triggered by stress plus a really bad throat/nose/lung infection. I was on strong anti-biotics for 3 weeks and it's still no good. EN is improving then getting worse again. I have 7 and 4 lumps/lesions on my legs. I have awful bronchitis that refuses to go away. I'm overseas and have to keep walking in the heat sometimes and every second day I collapse. Today I was given a new even stronger and different anti-biotic and I'm really hopeful this will help. So it seems my EN was triggered by a microorganism that's not identified but is atypical. Cross your fingers that the new antibiotics will work... if it doesn't I might have to go on prednisolone. I'm also travelling which is soooo hard with EN and full-on auto-immunity happening. This came at a very bad time... when I'm back home I'll have to get more tests to see if it's only EN or something else too... I hope it's just EN. cheers, Niko 33/F/Sydney (now in Europe) Hypothyroid, IBD, celiac, reactive arthritis, asthma, seizures, and now EN (since June '08)
