Your name and age: Groth age 312. Your location : Oklahoma City, OK3. Your email address: jennifer-groth@...4. Your Yahoo ID: jennifer-groth5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. I first noticed these bumps on my legs about four years ago. I went to the a couple of doctors and no one could figure it out. The decided to try taking me off birth control and that made them go away so the matter was dropped. I am not pregnant and now the bumps are back but much worse. I went to a new dermatologist and he diagnosed me with EN. My doctors are discussing if they should give me a topical steroid or not, but I don't want to do anything that might harm the baby. I need advice and tips on how to handle the pain. I plan on having more children so I am hoping to figure some things out now so the next one won't be so bad. I have heard that in pregnancy it last from the 2nd to the 5th month. I am just now beginning my 4th month and every week it is getting more and more painful. Sometimes by the end of the day I find it hard to walk. It seems to be affecting my left leg much worse. In fact, I just got the bumps on my right leg about a week ago and there are only about 4 on that leg. But there are a lot on my left leg a bunch on my ankle which is causing a lot of swelling in my ankle. 6. List any other health conditions. The only other thing is that I have allergies and low blood sugar. 7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: Before I was pregnant they gave me steroids and that made them go away until we just finally went off the birth control which made them go away altogether. 8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? About 4 years ago9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? I had it for about 8 months the first time. Then I've had it for about 2 months this time.10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? Yes11.Do you agree to post NO advertisements for any products or services? Yes12. How did you find this Group? (Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves Search, referral from another group or person etc.) Google
