Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. I was diagnosed with EN about 7 years ago. My first flare up was the worst. I had days where I couldn't walk, my legs hurt so bad. Since that first flare up, I have had 3-4 with similar pain, and others that consisted of small and very few nodules. I had a biopsy done to confirm that I did have EN. I have had numerous blood work completed, along with an EKG. The only test that came back positive was an ANA. I have seen several rheumatologists, dermatologists, and specialist, but have found no reason why I have EN. 6. List any other health conditions. No major medical conditions. I am allergic to Penicillin.7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: For major flare ups, I have been put on a prednisone treatment. This has worked very well for me. I have not felt any side effects of the medicine and it helps speed up recovery. Otherwise, I take Ibuprofen. Rest and staying off my legs help. Although, the longer I sit or lie down, the more my legs hurt when I first try to stand up.8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? When I was 24. 9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? About 7 years.10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? Yes.11.Do you agree to post NO advertisements for any products or services? I agree.12. How did you find this Group? (Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves Search, referral from another group or person etc.). Yahoo search for information on EN.
