Music Therapist Opening

Therapist. However, I am looking to see

Riverside Community

Center¢s The Other Place is a psychosocial club

for homeless and formerly homeless individuals who have a mental illness. We have created a fun, engaging clubhouse

community where we engage with our members in both structured and unstructured

events. Currently the program is

completely run by Creative Arts Therapists which gives us the freedom to carry

out many creative ideas. Currently on

staff we have an Art Therapist and a Drama Therapist. Our Music Therapist recently left and we are

looking to fill her position with another Music Therapist.

Job Function

·

Oversee clinical rehabilitation activities and

record keeping

·

Supervise program staff and interns

·

Supervise weekend social club (does not require

working on the weekends)

·

Maintain caseload

·

Lead groups

·

Serve as Program Director in the Director¢s

absence

Schedule/Salary

·

Full time, Monday-Friday

·

Salary commensurate with experience

·

Qualifications

·

Masters Degree in Creative Arts Therapy or

related field

·

LCAT or equivalent

·

Experience working with mentally-ill adults

·

Supervisory experience

·

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
