Dear Sharon,

hmmmm. this has earmarks of pg. please tell me whether or not the

lumps are open or not. also the tendonitis is interesting. i have

that too. many times certain large tendon groups, but more often it

is the connective tissues between the bone and tendons, get sore and

indicate a more underlying issue. the tendonitis, if you can't match

it up to some activity that may have caused it, it kind of came on

it's own and maybe the same time as the sores? this may indicate an

underlying condition. i am all too familar with this. this form or

tendonitis is really part of something called enteropathic

arthritis. enteropathic arthritis normally effects any one of, two

of all three of these systems: tendons (or thier connective tissues,

especially the larger group one's), eye and skin.

for example, mine are:

tendons: elbow and achilles

eye: episcleritis

skin: pg

my underlying cause is crohns disease.

not all arthritis is " ra " . in fact, " most " arthritis is NOT. there

are many forms. for example, enteropathic arthritis is non-

destructive, where ra is destructive. you may want to do some

internet search hits on " enteropathic arthritis " and do some further

investigation.

please let me know about the sores and if it is " open " . very

important. if you can provide a pic, that would be great!

jeff,

cd,

pg
