Hello all, I am trying to complete a mural project I have been working on. Part of the project consists of tiles my clients had glazed. Im having a problem with the company i was supposed to take project to .I was hoping someone knew of a place that had low cost firing prices in the Queens or Brooklyn area. I had been quoted that the 4x4 inch tiles ( I have 60 total) would cost a $1 a piece to fire. They suddenly changed there minds and said that would not be enough after i had already requested this from my jobs finance department. So the nonprofit I work for had $60 alloted for the project. If someone could please help me find a affordable reliable service that would be much appreciated!! Thanks and have a great day.NatashaNatasha Reitz, MA “Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Dear Natasha,

The sudden price increase is probably due to the rising gas/energy costs. Have you tried asking a local high school that has an art department with a kiln if they would fire it for you? I did this years ago and it seemed to work for awhile.

Good luck,

Debbie
