Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group."Nodules" on both my legs (15 at last count), starting on my ankles, now moving higher, to my knees. Two nodules on my arms. Very painful, red, and swollen. The first two were on my ankles and they are now very swollen, making it difficult to walk. I would love to know more info on controlling pain and the effectiveness of steriods. Also, I wouldn't feel like a freak of nature if I know there are others like me! 6. List any other health conditions. Oh boy! Epilepsy, inner ear disorder causing vertigo/dizziness, cancer of the thyroid which has been surgically removed. Other than that I'm actually pretty healthy. 7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: So far, only ibuprofen (400 mg 4 times a day, sometimes a bit more), cold packs on the worst spots, and elevation as much as I can. 8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? I first noticed a raised red spot on my lower shin, which I thought was a strange bruise, toward the end of December 07. I didn't worry about it until it got fairly big and then I noticed two on my other shin. 9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? 6 weeks or so10.
