Hello everyone,

Well it looks like someone beat me to it. There was a half page

article in my local newspaper about Plagio. It wasn't the best

written article I have seen...it didn't mention Torticollis, facial

assymetry, nor did it mention that babies with moderate to severe

cases could face medical problems in the future if left

untreated....but it was a start. At least it put the words

Positional Plagiocephaly out there and it did say something about,

although most babies don't need helmet therapy, it is a good idea to

get them to a specialist to be evaluated.........so at least they

aknowledge that babies with flat spots should see a specialist.

I will scan the article in the next couple of days if anyone is

interested in reading it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!

Sincerely,

Jaya Dong

Just a thought, but it is never to late to write a letter to the

editor. You could always say that the information that they provided

was not helpful and hurtful to the Plagio cause and that they should

have researched better and spoken to other sources. If you needed

the article to refer to but dont' have it, I am sure you can probably

get it at your local library............just a thought. :o)

Sincerely,

Jaya Dong
