Guest guest
Hello and Good Day to ALL!!! I hope this message finds everyone in better health. I have spent much of my weekend researching the very controversial and multi-faceted " disease " , Morgellons. I bring it to our Group's attention not to confuse or cloud our issues, but to illustrate how powerful a unified group can be. The medical community is distinctly divided on Morgellons. Yet, those who claim to be suffering from this illness were successful in obtaining support from the Mayo Clinic, University of Oklahoma and Kaiser Permanente (spelling?). And the band wagon is growing... The bottom line is that people ACTED and began the arduous process of phone calls, letter-writing, research... whatever it took. Morgellons.org is reaping the fruits of its labors...Yea for them! And, CDC projects a possible cure in one year. (Good Morning America, ABC Network Interview with CDC Director, Jan 2008) From what I assess, it only takes one dedicated Professor or Researcher to begin the " chain reaction " . Could we not put forth a letter as a Group which clearly states our Agenda? It could be that the same doctors researching Morgellons will have an interestin researching EN, as there may be a common denominator. I'm not interested in having EN merely used as a storyline on HOUSE. I want results. So do you. We all do. I am offering my services to this group. " Let's roll " !!!!!!!!! With sincere respect and love to all, I remain, Yours, aka imapisawork
Guest guest
Dear and Group, I am with you 100% Jeff mentioned that the Morgellons org is set up as a non profit charitable org and had many medical professionals on their board of directors. We could certainly set up the non-profit and beat the bushes for doctors. Certainly no dr. was an expert on Morgellons and yet they found lots of doctors willing to help them. It is going to take all of us--not just a handful, to get this started and keep the momentum. Sitting back and waiting to see what happens is not going to cut it. Morgellons had about 8000 " patients " as soon as they put up their site. We now have 1700, so we can't afford to let the next person shoulder the work. Each of us will have to put in 4 times the effort to get the research Morgellons is enjoying. And they expect a CURE in a year! I would think those researchers would want a new mystery to solve after that. Why not the Mystery of EN? The squeaky wheel gets the grease and so I agree with . We have to start ROARING. Love, EN '
