Your name and age: , 262. Your location: Minnesota3. Your email address: stacy.madsen@...4. Your Yahoo ID: stacy.madsen5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. My EN started as a painful red bump just above the inside of my right ankle that hurt when you pressed on it. Within 3 days my ankle had swollen to the point that there was no definition from the knee down, it was hot to the touch, my shin was bright red, I had the chills, a fever of 101 degrees and was unable to put weight on my right foot. Because it was only on the one side, my doctor did not know right away what I had. Three weeks later, I had another sore red bump on my left shin just under my knee. The redness and swelling did not spread as quickly, but the pain and joint stiffness was present. It was at this point that my doctor was able to diagnose it as EN. About 2 days ago, I had a third bump show up on the top of my right foot along with tenderness and some swelling. I believe that this is a third outbreak in 6 weeks. I am still not completely over the first two.6. List any other health conditions.none7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: Before my doctor knew it was EN, she put me on Levaquin, which did not help. She also put me on a steroid cream called Triamcinolon, it helped some with the itching, but did not do much else. After the diagnosis of EN, she put me on Indomethacin. This lead to a migraine and vomiting which caused me to discontinue taking the medication. Curently I treat each outbreak with rest and ice which seems to relieve the discomfort.8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? June 20089. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? about 6 weeks10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? Yes11.Do you agree to post NO advertisements for any products or services? Yes12. How did you find this Group?
