Mood states and choice of color

Hi all,

I sent a note last week to our listserve, but didn't hear back from anyone.

Again, the questions was put to me by our " practice manager " at the hospital I

work at. She would like to know if " there is any information on how color

affects mood " ... The inpatient psych units are about to choose new paints for

the walls, and they want to " take into account the effects of color on mood " .

If anyone has any thoughts on this, or research I can pass on, it would be

gratefully appreciated.
