i can't eat rice anymore even though it is ok on the list. really doesn't

digest well. feels just like any other starch...bad. i am finding that i get

really bad heartburn with all fried foods...and all starches. some fruits do

this to me too and meat doesn;t bother me. so i guess its back to eating

meat... >>

HOw do you do on vegetables? ARe cooked different from raw?

My stomach bloats with many foods(mostly, but not only, starches) and seems

to take forever to get to normal. I am reading " The Liver Cleansing Diet "

right now and am going to give this a go; I am thinking this is possibly

liver/gallbladder related.

<<So, do try. My PCP doesn't always agree with the alternative med choices I have made over the years, but will encourage me when he sees improvements, and will caution me honestly. I really am fortunate to have found such a great guy.Good luck - and, if anyone has any up to date info, I would appreciate your passing it on. Take care all of you and don't give up. Millie>>

Did you have to follow the real strict diet set up my Dr Armand(sp?) for it to work? I saw her restrictions of no fruits and vegatables, no starch, potatos, pasta, ect. and decided it wasn't for me. I can't live off just meat.
