Hi,

You can find 4 meditations on the Acceptance and Commitemetn Therapy

website at

http://www.act-for-anxiety-

disorders.com/therapist_materials_audio_files.html.

Alternatively, Russ has two excellent guided meditation CDs,

which I highly recommend, at

http://www.actmindfully.com.au/cds_and_books.

Hope this helps,

Stan

Dear Bill,

See also www.julianmcnally.com , scroll down to

“What’s Free”,

click on mindfulness exercises, and from the page

you’re now on,

download the

MP3’s for very good mindfulness “guided

meditations”.

(right click and then Save Target

As… to wherever you want)

If you use iTunes click on the

icon. Or just listen to them on your computer.

There’s also 2 good PDF

scripts of 2 of the exercises.

In n’s words…

“Try

the mindfulness

exercises I developed in my day job at RMIT University.

Mindfulness exercises such as these are an essential component of Acceptance

and Commitment Therapy, so if you're interested in this approach, consider

these a 'taster'. Make sure you read the disclaimer though” – btw there isn’t one, and the other “5

Chapters” are yet to be completed and posted online.

Cheers robp

Guided ACT meditations/exercises on the Internet???

I got a MP3 player for Xmas!!! So, does anyone know if

there's any

Pre-recorded guided ACT meditations on the internet? Particularly

with an emphasis on embracing/accepting stress/fears(rather than

striving for tranquility:there's hundreds of those!)

Essentially, meditations along the lines of the " Tin-Can Monster "

meditation/exercise or the " Acceptance in Real Time " (of target

fears/stressors) meditation/exercise

Thanks
