Hi, i'm Gianluca Amato from Parma Psychology University. Last year we

have done an experimental research about Benson's relaxation respond

using startle reflex as physiological activation index ( if you want

see the poster, that we presented to the International Congress of

Cognitive Therapy of June 2008, you can ask me and write me a email).

We would like to test again the research with the use of mindfulness

technicals much nearer of "mental presence"( in the buddhist sense of

the term) and not at concentration.

We will be happy to receive from you some new starting point to carry

out our work at the best we can (also bibliographical references). I
