Guest guest
Check out Black mold testing Yesterday we learned that dear friends on our street have left their home becaue it is making them sick. All 6 of them live in a motel now! We spoke with them at their house yesterday as they met with the person who was going to take samples for culturing. They showed us inside. We saw the mold/fungus that is growing between the walls under the windows of their 13 yr old daughter's 2nd floor bedroom. They pulled up the floor and the insulation on the underside is greenish black. Their health symptoms increased after they pulled the wall away and pulled the floor up. The wife had two seizures, one of which occured in the garage. She awoke to find herself on the concrete floor! Previous to this she had been having increased seizures through the summer. All of their children have symptoms of Tourettes. They have tested allergic to molds in past years. The problem for them began with windows which are defective. The windows allow rain to seep into the walls. When this mother pulled away the sheetrock, she found water standing 8 " high. Their is a plastic barrier that held in the water. We have the same windows. Our house was built by the same builder just 7 yrs ago. We replaced 2 rooms' windows in the last 3 months. We have found damage in our bedroom windows so are scheduled for replacement next week. The interesting thing is that when our 25 yr old with CFS/FMS was in Austria on 2 different times since 1999, she felt better while she was away. Upon returning home she commented that she began to fell " sick " . She has just returned to Austria for 9 months to be a teacher's assistant for 9 months. We look forward to learn if she is feeling the same improvement as before. She does take many supplements as do I to help us to have a close to normal life. We had thought it odd that she would feel better while living away from us. This is shared so you might be able to consider this as one possible contributing factor to your health symptoms.
