Guest guest
Hi Everyone This is my first post to this group. I was wondering what ACT practitioners thought of Carlson's theories especially contained in his book " Stop Thinking & Start Living " and also Dr Ainslie Meares' book " Relief Without Drugs " . To me there seems to be a lot of crossover the main difference being that the before-mentioned works seem a lot more easy to understand and simpler to implement than ACT concepts which to me seem at times to be rather convoluted i.e. noticing myself thinking that I am thinking etc and grappling with the philosophical wranglings of values. I'd appreciate your opinions on this. Aodh
