Guest guest
- Get the info on Cisapride before you let them prescribe it for Jillian. There is a website with a warning. I don't think it's the best med for a kid with heart trouble. That's probably why they want to do an EKG before and after. We have gotten the best results with Prilosec. You might want to ask about it. I don't know what the possible side effects are. It's working so well that I think of it as a neccessity so don't worry about the negative. Aubrie has ear tubes and just got her first ear infection since they were placed. She is on ear drops and oral antibiotics. She is not on prophylactic antibiotics because it hasn't been a problem. I hope it all gets figured out quickly. Oh, BTW, Aubrie is easily startled too but I think it's more related to sensory defensiveness-type stuff than above-average hearing. She's just a bit jumpy. Good luck. Keep us posted. Was impressed that you guys had an ambulance ride? thinks some of the stuff Aubrie's done is pretty cool. Guest guest
, Jillian was cleared by the cardioligist at 5 months old. She still has the persistant left superior vena cavae but that has no affect on the function of the heart. So I would not think the cisapride would hurt, but I would definitely rather use something that would have less side effects. got to get in the ambulance before we took off and he really wanted to go with us, but he couldn't. Does anyone have that website with a warning on cisapride? Foley
