Guest guest
I know, I remember thinking similar thoughts. But we're all different and lose weight at the pace that's right for our bodies. I read somewhere that Michele said she always ate good before the Tae Bo, probably just didn't move much. I always tell people to shoot for a healthy lifestyle rather than dieting. You'll win in the long run that way. I'm still not a small gal, but being Samoan and German has a lot to do with it and I just keep trying to make good choices. However, if I want some dessert, I do not hesitate! LOL Just have 1 piece of cake now vs. the whole cake! > ok, i was just reading through the heroes stories on taebo.com and, um, well > i hate to say that some sound kinda far-fetched to me. > like, michelle reber says that she went from a size 18 to a 2 *without > changing her diet*.... another woman says that she went from a size 12 to a > 2 in *3 months*... a man says he lost 40 pounds in *3 months*.... why in > the > heck does that stuff not happen to me??? Guest guest
It will, Your body is just being Stuborn. If I remember correctly you were doing the abs and glutes tape 3 times a week!!! I can't beleive you have not seen any results yet. Have you seen Toni's pictures on this site? under files. They are great. I know they motivated me. All of those pic. motivate me. I need to check them out again. If they can do it so can I, And if Darcy is 8 months preg. and still doing it, I should be able to get up and do it too. Not being rude, but how much do you want to loose? I know if you are within about 20 lbs of your ideal weight for your height, it is really hard to loose. Do you know the calculation for the weight. For me since I am 5' 7 " they say for women take for every inch over 5' and multiply it by 5, then add 100. So mine should be 135. this should be your ideal weight. My doctor told me I could be 135 to 150. So I need to loose at LEAST the 20lbs, but would like to be on the lower end of that. Hope this helps you a little WE BOTH CAN DO THIS Beckie > ok, i was just reading through the heroes stories on taebo.com and, um, well > i hate to say that some sound kinda far-fetched to me. > like, michelle reber says that she went from a size 18 to a 2 *without > changing her diet*.... another woman says that she went from a size 12 to a > 2 in *3 months*... a man says he lost 40 pounds in *3 months*.... why in the > heck does that stuff not happen to me??? I remember that I lost about 18 pounds in 2-3 months after college by exercising daily without changing my diet. Now, I mean not consciously " dieting " . However, I was no longer in college eating pizza at 2am and probably eating smaller portions without noticing that I was because normally exercise takes away my appetite. So, I did not change my diet but I greatly changed the amount of calories I was eating. Those other people who lost weight so fast probably lost a lot of muscle mass in the process and in the long run hurt their bodies and were less fit. The best way to loose fat and keep it off is 1-2 pounds a week. I know it is slow and frustrating, but it is healthy and long lasting. I know it seems like you aren't seeing good results, but keep up the healthy eating and exercising, and you will loose weight and make your self healthy in the process. I know you can do it! Kerri who gets frustrated easily too, but knows slow and steady wins the race __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thanks Beckie, you are too sweet. Yes you can definitely do it!!! it's hard work, but you can do it...just remember to stay focused on your goal. Don't put too much emphasis on the scale, because it WILL LIE TO YOU.
