Hi, Brat, Yeah, I wish we did, too. We got another two week continuance,

but we're

down to four possible placements left in the entire state, and none of them

are very

enthusiastic about taking him. It's really scary, and I'm not sleeping very

well. On

top of that I was attacked from behind by a wayward packing crate two days

ago, and

my achilles tendon was damaged, heavily bruised and the skin cut and scraped

all

around the back of my heel. It is very painful, but no stitches were

required. I just

have to stay off of it as much as possible. Yeah, right. And in the last

two days I've

had to get one kid ready for camp (he leaves early in the morning), and the

other one

ready to spend a week away with friends (I get a week kid free, whoohoo!),

and had

the court date today for my eldest son. Once I get the two younger ones off

my hands

for the next week, maybe I can relax a bit. I hope so, anyway. Hope you are

doing

better today in terms of your ankle. Mine will take time to heal, so I guess

I'll have

to be patient. Something I'm really good at...NOT. Love, MM

Hi, Brat. You got that right. I spent most of today in tears because the

court system

has still not got a place to put my son, and we go back to court on Friday.

They will

then put him into the dependent unit, which will expose a lot of younger

kids, including girls, to his psychopathic behaviors, and no one is listening

to me about

meds. It's like living in a nightmare...like running through glue when the

monster is

just about to get you...you know? Anyhow, After trying everyone I could

think of

to help, AGAIN, and getting nowhere, I just gave up and cried for hours. I

think it

relieved the tension a bit, but now I have a headache. Typical, huh? Gotta

try and

get some rest. Court in two days, and my youngest one came home from a week's

visit with friends, and is now sick. Never rains but it pours. More later.

Love, MM

MM,

I am so sorry that this is happening. The justice wheels turn extremely

slowly. And the ones who suffer are your son and Mom.

Extra prayers are being said for both you and your son to see you thru these

most difficult days. I hope the little one feels better soon also. God will

give you strength.

Gentle, tender, loving angel hugs,

Debs in FL

Hi, Debs. Thanks, I didn't realize my email went to the main board. LOL I

thought I

was replying to 's email, only. But, I don't mind that everyone knows

what's

happening. It helps to have all the support I can get. I understand that

your knee is

finally going to get treated. I pray it works out for you. Loving hugs, MM

, Thanks. We can use them. To make a long story short, I am the

adoptive mom

of four special needs kids, three boys and one girl. My eldest son and first

adoptee,

was not quite three when I got him. He has been getting progressively more

and more

mentally and emotionally disturbed due to abuse, neglect, drug addiction at

birth,

and a hundred other things while in his birth mother's so-called care. The

same judge

took him away from her six times and returned him five before he was fourteen

months old. So, He cannot " feel " like other people, cannot attach to other

people, and

has no conscience. He is now labelled a psychopath, is a danger to himself

and others, and no facility will take him. So, prayers are needed and

welcome. Thanks again.

Loving hugs, MM

MM,

Don't know what's going on on the home front but I wanted to let you know you and your family are in my prayers.

How sad and frustrating! I have great faith in your resilience, though.

I'm praying that the court finally comes through for y'all.

Hugs (and virtual chicken soup for the sick one),

Do you see, Becky, she is trying to blame ALL of us, when it was SANDRA who

started all the trouble. You and I shall keep the " quiet " ones in line and

order!

Becks, OK, where are you wearing your wings, girlfriend? HUH? HUH? I

can't see

them anywhere. Straightening your halo, indeed. I got your halo. Uh-huh.

Man, it's

ANGELIC?!@##?!!? How is it I get elected " mother " ? Why is that? I'll do

what MY

mother used to do to us when we had fights. Yup. Make you all sit across

the table

from each other and look at each other until you could kiss and make up.

Hmmmm.

I think that's a very good idea. OK, now kids, sit down across the table

from each

other. Now, look the other guy in the eye and really SEE 'em. OK, now kiss

and make

up, girls. From your loving, " Mom " . MM

Brat, Well, yes, it IS cooler today. Thank Heaven! It was over 100

yesterday, again.

Today it never hit 80, yippee! I had to meet with this social worker from

Child Protective Services this afternoon to discuss my son, 's, case.

Not a happy subject, but at least this guy was honest enough to tell me there

isn't much we can

do for him...and he will probably end up in the adult system before long.

However, as

long as he's still a minor, CPS will support me in my efforts to keep him in

treatment. So, that is a small gain, at least.

On a cheerier subject, both of my other boys had a good first day at school,

and I hope

the year keeps on being good to them both. I am tired, after all that

company, but

am feeling better today. How are you? You must have been working some long

hours

lately, as I haven't seen many posts from you? Anyway, hope you get some

rest, too.

Love, MM

Brat, Oh. That limo. We took one to Disneyland, too. Got the same driver

that does

Larry King, and lots of CNN people. His name was Andre'. What a character.

His buddy, Chedda, also Austrian, was the driver for GzaGza the day she

slapped that cop.

We had him on the way back from Disneyland. It was more fun than the damned

park,

I thought. They had some great stories about some of their passengers.

Larry King

is their least favorite person. They said he treats women like dogs. I

believe it.

Gotta go fix dinner. More later, MM
