Guest guest
Terria, I am in Australia, I get my LDN from Adelaide from the http://www.hotfrog.com.au/Companies/Green-Dispensary It is a capsule with acidophilus in it. It is compounded from the pure powder not crushed tablets. I changed my diet 14 months ago to no red meat, no caffeine, no alcohol, no dairy products, no eggs, less sugar, more salt (celtic or sea salt), more veggies, low saturated fats, High omega 3 & 6. I start the day with a veggie juice containing carrots, cabbage, dark green leaf (spinach, Bok Choy, carrot tops, Parsley or silver beet), Zucchini, Red Beets, Swede, a slither of ginger 5ml of Cod liver oil and 10 ml of flaxseed oil and for some fiber I put 1 tablespoon of psyllium husks. I have done this for 12 months. I also drink around 1.5 liters of water at breakfast. I have a mens multivitamin, 1000 mg of vitamin C, Vitamin B12 or a b complex, Calcium. On top of this I have 30ml of wheat grass juice. ( I am starting to study Dr Lawrence’s recommendations) For lunch I have a meal with less than 5 mg of Sat. fats. My best meal is sprouted wheat bread (no yeast, flour or additives) with tomatoes, sprouted mung beans and avocado. For a quick meal 2 cobs of corn. For a take away I go for a Wholemeal 12 inch veggie Subway with no cheese, for on the run I nibble on a mixture of nuts and dried fruit. I will have another liter of water and a soya drink For tea I will eat with my family and it usually involves me getting my protein whether chicken breast, fish and sometimes tofu. Lots of veggies an around 500ml of water prior to the meal. As you can imagine this has been a drastic change to my life style from eating 150 – 200 grams of saturated fat to now having between 10-20 grams. I had started this lifestyle change 14 month ago and it took me 6 months of refining it using things such as the swank diet, (http://www.swankmsdiet.org ), advice from my chiropractor, advice from my vegan brother and veggie mother (I was the black sheep of the family), try and get my body into an alkaline state, good information here but products are expensive. http://www.innerlightinc.com/phstore. and for the last 3 months 40 laps of the pool and yoga. I have good success with the above, I have lost 50kg (110 lbs), I have got rid of sleep apnea (I don’t snore anymore), gout, visible thrush, reflux, colds and a sore back (herniated disk). All this while working a 45 hour week (was doing in excess of 60 hours but I have cut this back) as an accountant with 10 staff and a family with 4 children 7,9,11 and 14. As you can imagine I get home from work absolutely exhausted and most nights fall asleep around 7:30 and wake around 8:30 go to bed at 12:00 and up at 7:00 am. All this is great but the MS is very active. Day 8 of taking LDN. Good day today less feeling sick. I even chain sawed a tree that had fallen over in the yard 6 months ago. That made me tied but I am still going no sleep yet. Sorry you got some of my life story but it does hearten me when I look back and write down what I have achieved. I think sometimes that I could do more. But I have to be realistic I have done a lot. Thanks for this site and for all your combined inputs it is one more positive step in my journey. Is it a tablet or a capsule? LDN will not hurt you but you may need a different filler or mg. dosage. What do you mean by a regimented diet? Terria On Thu, 29 Dec 2005 12:38:23 -0000 " turnerpllcmj " <turnerpllcmj@...> writes: Hi guys, I started taking 4.5 mg LDN tablet with acidophilus filler between 9- 10 pm 5 days ago. I am experiencing some symptoms the worst being a feeling of nausea that has been persistent all day long and Intermittently over the last 2 days I am more fatigued and my numbness in my hands is more pronounced I am also having some sharp pain in my hands. I awoke at 5:15 am and dozed until 10:00am and I had some vivid dreams which were OK. Also slightly constipated. I have not taken any CRAB drugs. My diet is fairly regimented so I cant see this causing any problems. My questions are can I do anything with these symptoms or will they subside. Am I doing anything irreversible to my body? Should I ride this out and stick to 4.5 mg as movement between dosages will cause the body to adjust to the new dosage causing symptoms? Thanks in advance for your responses Regards Phil __________ NOD32 1.1344 (20051229) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.nod32.com
