Guest guest
Welcome , LDN should be started immediately. I do not know if you have MS but with MS you should not stop LDN ever or you risk having an attack or progression. There is not a waiting period unless you have been on opiates. Don't know your situation. Welcome back....Kiki

Guest guest
And I would like to say "Thank You" for everyone's patience, no matter how many times the same question or request is asked . . . Thank you!!!thepapineau <thepapineau@...> wrote: hello.i just wanted to send a big shout and say thank you to this community. your candor and steadfastness in helping out, as each newcomer surfaces with the same questions and fears has been outstanding in my experience reading the posts over the past few months. i would like to give very special thanks to marsha smith, who originally turned me on to ldn and this newsgroup, and to carolina van der lande, someone i've never met, who graciously sent me some liquid measuring equipment from the netherlands when i couldn't find anything suitable in france. i've met this kind of warmth time and again, and it is this kind-heartedness, more than anything, that has made the challenge of this malady a positive, even welcome, new road.on a lesser note, i was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to "restart" ldn. is there a recommended waiting period, or any factors i should be concerned about? will it be less effective because of the break in treatment? i'm sorry if this subject has already been addressed, but i couldn't find anything in the archives.thank you!i wish you all the very best year to come.lisa. Did you have any adverse problems with LDN the first try? If you had no problems before then start out on the same dose as you did the first time. If you had problems the first time start at a smaller dose and gradually build up to either 3.0mg or 4.5mg.
Guest guest
hi kiki. thanks for your response. i do have ms, and knew that i might risk a relapse, but i had to stop for a bit.... after getting over the first few weeks of no sleep (insomnia was nothing new), i was starting to see some relief with the numbness, clumsiness and sharp stitches in my legs. still felt exhausted, but...the problem, and it's rather embarassing, was that i became REALLY gut-crampy, swollen and constipated. have always been extremely sensitive to medications and side effects. i tried everything i could find recommended by this group , and other home remedies, but it became too much. i know that seems probably crazy considering the greater risks of the ms, but, well. perhaps i'm still getting mentally adjusted to the fact that i have this malady (i was diagnosed in september after a very frightening year of not knowing what was up.) i figured maybe i should try to work out my nutritional regime and then start back up. anyway, all are welcome to roll their eyes. and, so to re-word my query...have i risked the ldn not working so well the next time? also...i've see some conflicting opinions in the group on what is the most comfortable dosage for a woman with ms... i tried both 3mg and 4.5 mg and didn't experience much difference. thank you again! lisa. ...... Guest guest
thanks brenda, i will try to start at a lower dose next time and build up, GRADUALLY (i think maybe that was the problem the last time...too excited for it to work asap...need to give my body time to adjust.) ...... If you had problems the first time start at a smaller dose and gradually build up to either 3.0mg or 4.5mg. > >

Guest guest
My daughter has MS. She also has fibromyalgia. She had been taking the daily injection (Copaxone) for over a year. A friend told me about ldn and I read the book, and I am so impressed with it. Like the book says, what have you got to lose by trying it. My daughter faxed all the info about ldn to her neuro 3 weeks ago and has not heard back, which is what we expected. I cannot thank you enough for answering my e-mail. Any names or info will so appreciated. Thank you again!
