I was just wondering what other changes in sleep patterns has everyone

noticed? I've been on LDN for 6.5 months and did not have the reported

sleep problems at the beginning that some have reported.

But what I have noticed over that last two weeks or so is that I wake

up in the middle of the night and I'm very awake (surf the net, watch

tv, chat with boyfriend)then go back to sleep. I get up a few hours

later, go to work (regular 8 hour day) with no negative effects of the

time I was awake in the meddle of the night.

Before I was sick I was a very light sleeper, now I'm a pretty sound

sleeper as well. Of course that could be a combo of the medications

I'm taking.

I've had sleep difficulties for years, decades. But I was told I've probably had

Lyme since childhood.

Working up and strictly following good sleep hygiene did eventually have a big

impact on sleep quality. But it took 3-4 years.

Hi ,

Have u ever checked into seizures. there was a girl at school who would have

seizures and not remember what happened during the few second she had a seizure.

(nothing compared to ur hours). she would look at us and then understand why we

were looking at her. she had seizures often. except they made her tired. she

would sleep for hours after she had one. i thought that maybe seizures would be

something u'd want to rule out. the whole sleep pattern u have is creepy. i hope

u don't have some sort of mass of brain fluid swelling up in a spot or messing

up with that part of ur brain.

Prayers and Hope to u!

Sincerely,

Cortney

Hi,

I have had a strange thing happening to me...I say its like narcolepsy.. ..I

m wide awake and alert and can be standing and doing something and I'm out

and 2 min to 2 hrs can go by and my family is telling me they cannot wake me

and I just come to and ask why are they looking at me funny. I'm wondering

if its some severe form of sleep walking which I've always done when under

stress. I've had several sleep studies and recently had an EEG and CAT scan

and its all clear but he wants another sleep study. I suffer from insomnia

and can go 5 days b4 crashing. Not sure if its related or not to lyme or

morgellons. I used to follow the insomnia with a 3 day coma but its been a

loooong time. I have noticed that when I'm having a narcolepty black out and

then wake and my finger tips and lips are numb and my whole pillow is soaked

My kids came recently and witnessed one and it scared her and she said she

couldn't wake me at all and I was breathing funny but at age 9 couldn't

describe it.

Has anyone who's had lyme over a year or so experienced permanent changes in

sleep? I know it can be a symptom, but was wondering about its permanence.
