D from it's most natural source, the sun?

If you have a good diet with lots of healthy fats, you too may find that sun

burn does not happen -- except for extreme overexposure.

With the addition of omega-3 fatty acids as found in fish oil and flaxseed

oil mixed into yoghurt Charlie had a significant decrease in inflammatory

response....... and also a decrease in seizure activity.

He always used to be somewhat swollen looking and hands, feet and fact would

sometimes turn red and purplish. Docs said that that is just what his body

did from time to time. I had asked at least four docs about this over a ten

year period.

This phenomena HAS NOT happened since the omega-3s and a couple of other

things like using ginger liberally in his diet.

Hope this helps

  • 9 months later...

hello all. Been on 3mg ldn now for about 1 month.

Still have not noticed any symptom improvement. I

guess I'm not going to be one of the lucky ones. Sleep

is not good, but thats no big deal. I have to take 2

or 3 nuerontin and a klonipin or 2 just to stop my

right leg spasms at night to get to sleep. (It's just

like restless leg syndrome.) I'm tired in the morning,

but I can live with that. I was hoping for some better

endurance or strength in my right leg. After about 50

yards or so now, my right leg starts to drag and makes

it impossible to walk. My right leg in noticeably

weaker also.

Can I at least expect it to get no worse at 3.0 mg or

do I need to bump to 4.5 mg.

Any other recommendations for strengtheneing my right

leg.

I have been on betaseron and copaxone. I have been on

the swank diet for years and take a boat load of

vitamin supplements. My first symptoms started in

1989, optic nueritis in 1993 and confirmed diagnosed

in 1998. I just want to get off this ever so slow

decline in abilities that keeps taking things away

from me.

Any suggestions, for anything more I can do, would be

greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Hi ,

It sounds like you are doing the right things. The diet, supplements and

LDN. I will see if I have any saved chats on what might help with sleeping,

with fatigue and with spasms. As far as symptom relief overall, I would

hope that given more time they may come along. You might want to try

waiting out the 2nd month and then see if changing your dosage, or trying it

in liquid would provide any help. Rhonda had been taking LDN for a while

with some symptom relief but no energy. She tried it in the liquid form

rather than capsule and wow she had more energy. Also, my husband seems to

be more energetic over the course of the day with DLP.

I will forward those posts.

Keep us posted on how you are doing
