As mentioned to recently, the 'professionals' out there generally regard LDN as quackery. Call one of the compounders out there (ie Skips in FL on 800-553-7429) to ask about prescribing drs in your area. Good luck! But if you can't find one to give you a referral, anyone can do as I (and many others here) do and buy Naltrexone capsules from a foreign supplier where anyone can buy from without a prescription, then mix-up your own 'low-dose' by diluting in sterile water, then drawing up 3.0 mg (for your first couple of weeks) in a baby measuring syringe, then migrate up to the recommended 4.5 mgs from women after that.

Medsmex.com appears to not have stock right now, cause they've taken it off their price list (looked up Naltrexone, LDN and the trade name Revia but none showed). However, http://www.eshoprx.com/prdDetail.aspx?Param=340 & cmd=1 in Panama has 30-pill packs for $79 -- the same price I paid from medsmex.com in Mexico. 1 box will last you for almost a year -- long enough to do a good trial to know if it's helping you. Here's a description from www.goodshape.net for how to make-up your own liquid LDN:

Liquid LDN (Easiest): Acquire some ml measuring equipment from the baby section of a Drug Store and a small bottle with a screw-on cap. Put 50ml of water (distilled is best) and one 50mg "ReVia" Naltrexone tablet in the small bottle and let it dissolve with a little time and shaking. Now each ml of water in that small bottle contains 1 mg of Naltrexone. At bedtime shake the bottle, take a desired dose (no more than 4.5ml), chase it down with some water and store the small bottle in the refrigerator. Some people have reported splitting the tablet in half and dissolving it in 25ml of water to assure freshness every week.

Be warned, the taste is a bit strong, but you can squirt your syringe into a little juice (I chase it down with a cup-a-tea) to make it taste better!

Good luck! Rae

Hi Everyone, I have started an LDN Dr list so if you can't find a Dr in your area that will prescribe LDN to you then email me and I will see if I have one on my list. Also like Rae said you can call Skip's Pharmacy to see if they have any one their list or any of the other Compounding Pharmacies and you can also go to 's website at http://ldn.proboards3.com/index.cgi? to request to see if she has any in your area on her list. That's 3 options you have to see if there is a Dr in your area that will prescribe LDN to you.
