Guest guest
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW SINCE I WASNOT ASKED FOR THE POLL. I AM TAKING LDN, AND I HAVE MAINTAINED A LOSS OFF ABOUT 2 LBS. A WEEK SINCE I'VE BEEN ON LDN(2 WKS.). BUT MY SYMPTOMS HAVE IMPROVED VERY MUCH. I USE TO HAVE TROUBLE BREATHING, AND FELT I WAS BEING SQEEZED. NOW I FEEL GREAT. TAKE CARE. GOD BLESS EVERYONE. -- [low dose naltrexone] Results of Weight Loss Poll Here are the admittedly unscientific results of my informal poll. The question was: If you have MS and you're taking LDN, have you experienced – (1) weight loss? (2) significant symptom improvement? Twenty people responded. Of that group, 7 people (35%) experienced weight loss; 13 people (65%)did not. Of that same group, 15 people (75%) experienced significant symptomimprovement, and 5 people (25%) did not.Now for the fun part. Seven people experienced weight loss AND symptom improvement: (35%)Zero people experienced weight loss but NO symptom improvement: (0%)Eight people experienced NO weight loss but did have symptomimprovement: (40%)Five people experienced NO weight loss and NO symptom improvement: (25%) Of course, I have no idea what any of this means. I did think itinteresting that NOBODY had weight loss without symptom improvement.Or to put it another way, everyone who lost weight also had symptomimprovement. Thanks again to everyone who responded. It would be fun to do a broader study on this. Anyone who has acoupla hundred thousand dollars lying around, please send it to me assoon as possible and I'll get started.
