Hello everyone...I seem to read many digests at a time, so I end up with lots of responses, so here goes.....

LESLIE---I also had some sleep problems when I first started LDN...like having a very hard time going to bed at night...I had not stopped taking Provigil...so I finally decided to just do LDN only and trust it to hold my fatigue at bay. IT WORKED! I found that I didn't need the Provigil...and by not taking it anymore I was able to go to sleep like a "normal" person. So my first advice to anyone starting LDN is to give it a shot and give it a chance to work on it's own. If you're fatigue is not helped enough, try to add some Provigil...1/2 dose very early in the day. But truly, the LDN does a great job on it's own.

KARI, AKIBA, and DOUG---GET ReVia from medsmex.com I did it--great experience, and have other friends who have, too. I chose to just get that so I could dillute it and change the dosage whever I wanted. I was also scared of all the "filler" problems. So now I get my meds from Mexico, and then dillute one pill into a 50 ml bottle of distilled water. (I buy the water from walmart for less than $1 for a gallon, and got the bottle from a pharmacy..I just asked for it and they gave it to me. I use a syringe to measure out my 3-4.5ml (3-4.5mg equivalent). It's worked GREAT for me and the price is awesome!

JANINE---I've had emotional issues from time to time...but that is the SECOND MOST common symptom that MS patients share (following fatigue very closely)...but that HAS lessened since the LDN, and I try to pay attention to when it hits, and honestly it's often within 5 days of beginning my period, so it can also be female issues, too. Do keep the stress to as minimum as possible, there are many things we think we MUST do, but we reallly CAN take them off the list (or get another person to do it). Take care of yourself, ;).

LARRY---I've not heard of anyone applying to the MS Society for money for research on LDN...I think that would be GREAT! I HIGHLY doubt they'd give any money for it, but that'd be AWESOME if they would! Let us all know if there's anyway we can help out with it....I'd LOVE to get them to help FUND it!

RAE---Interesting study---but Copaxone was a BAD EXPERIENCE for me! It's not worth the MULTIPLE EXACERBATIONS while on Copaxone for a possible help! LDN has worked for me, so I'll stick to it. However, I'm always happy to see more research on MS...there's just SO MUCH that is unknown...it's refreshing to see that there are still Doctors who realize that they don't know everything there is to know about it --- I loathe small-minded doctors!

LISA and others with questions about MS and pregnancy---I've read a lot on the topic as well and YES, typically MS symptoms lessen or usually even GO AWAY while pregnant! It's amazing! HOWEVER, upon delivery it's Extremely common to have an exacerbation! So it's something you'll have to weigh out for yourself. I've got other problems that don't allow me to have a good pregnancy and was forced to get my tubes tied even before diagnosed with MS. Good luck with your decisions on it. Children are a blessing...I'm grateful for my 3, but it is a struggle to keep up even halfway with them while having MS. (my kiddos are 7, 5, and 2).

MAUREEN: SURVEY ANSWERS....

1. YES..I've lost some weight since starting LDN almost 3 months ago...I'm hoping it continues, I could sure stand to lose some more! :)

2. YES...I've had wonderful symptom relief and I've been happiest about my cognitive skills...I'm less of a zombie!

Thanks to everyone for this great group! I enjoy reading stories and hope to continue to hear the great positive results everyone has had. I also appreciate all the knowledge that we as a group seem to have! I've seen some pretty great answers to questions, simple or complex. Thanks for all being there for all of us!

I'm so happy with LDN!!!!!!!

Hi ,

I seem to have lost your post. Or took it ;op I have

decreased my provigil some but not very much. It's almost like I am

afraid to not take it. Meaning the ldn is now giving me a drugged kind

of fatigue that I figure if I don't take the provigil I will sleep all

day. How long before you stopped it and noticed a difference?

I've never felt this tired in a long time. I wonder why all of a

sudden the ldn is hitting me like this? Anyone have any ideas?

I'm glad you are here also ! It's the people who make a

support group work! Each of us have our own unique way of looking at

things. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same.

Take Care
