The Second Annual LDN Conference

April 7, 2006

Sedlock, chairperson of the Second Annual Low Dose Naltrexone

Conference, has set the date: Friday, April 7th, 2006 — cherry

blossom time in Washington, D.C.!

The meeting will be held on the campus of the National Institutes of

Health in the Lister Hill Center Auditorium of the National Library

of Medicine (NLM), located approximately 5 miles from Washington

D.C. in Bethesda, land. The NLM/Lister Hill Center (buildings 38

& 38a) are in the southeast corner of the campus of the National

Institutes of Health.

The conference theme, " The Future Is Now, " was selected because it

reflects the amazing strides that have been made in LDN research and

clinical trials since our last gathering. Dr. Gluck, who

hosted the First Annual LDN Conference in New York last June, will

kick off the 2006 conference with a brief review of " The Year in

LDN. "

The Keynote Speaker, Dr. Jill , Professor of Gastroenterology

of the Pennsylvania State University, will share with us her

impressions of the first clinical trial in the USA, which she ran on

the effects of LDN on Crohn's Disease.

Our second Featured Speaker is Dr. Jacquelyn McCandless, who is

achieving remarkable success with LDN in treating childhood autism!

The word is spreading; some Chronic Fatigue patients are starting to

join her Autism LDN group (which has grown by 900 members

since July) because they are seeing a similarity between features of

autism and CFS. Dr. McCandless is also receiving reports from

parents whose children with bipolar disorder are showing a great

response to LDN. She will discuss her new clinical trial, her

pioneering efforts in autism, and the striking anecdotal results of

LDN treatment.

Dr. Phil Boyle, a family physician in Ireland, will also speak at

the conference. His presentation will be entitled: " LDN in Clinical

Practice—a Family Physician's Experience from Ireland " . Dr. Boyle

will tell us of the " stunning clinical results even from my limited

experience in using LDN at this time " . This talk will provide a

first hand opportunity to hear from a practicing family physician

who has the courage to prescribe LDN for his patients.

Dr. Pat Crowley, also from Ireland, will be speaking to us. Dr.

Crowley has developed a video documentary on LDN treatment and will

share it with us at the conference.

Seeking LDN Advocate Speakers: Sedlock, the conference

chairperson, is seeking volunteers to participate on the LDN

Advocates Panel of speakers. In addition to a person with MS, she is

looking for three patients who will offer their personal success

stories in using LDN for Cancer, CFS or Fibromyalgia, or for HIV.

can be contacted by e-mail at 2002eldo@..., or, if

absolutely necessary, by phone at (703) 998-0272. Please don't be

shy — each speaker will be allowed ten (10) minutes to make a

presentation, and there will be a Q & A session to follow.
