My mom is in the late stages of Multiple Myeloma. She is currently undergoing

radiation

treatments and is on 16 mg. Dexamethasone daily which is a corticosteroid.

Can she be on LDN concurrently? I am unclear as to what steroids cannot be

combined with

LDN.

Anyone who has taken LDN with advanced myeloma I would love to hear from you!

Thanks,

Susie Sedlock's dad has, or rather had Multiple Myeloma bone cancer. Susie is

mainly staying at hospital with her dad as he fell ill over the Christmas

holidays...most likely unrelated to the Myeloma...Mr Sedlock is 90 years old.

Mr. Sedlock was 87 when he was diagnosed and he refused chemo and radiation and

has done only 4.5mg of LDN and is in remission. Any steroids for cancer along

with LDN is a no no as the steroids suppress the immune system. Mr. Sedlock

gets his LDN from Irmat pharmacy in New York and is a patient of Dr. Bihari's.

When you get your LDN prepared make sure you use a pharmacy that uses Pure

Naltrexone Powder and DOES NOT use Calcium Carbonate as a capsule filler. A

cancer patient needs to stay away from any filler that could possibly cause

naltrexone to relase slow and calcium carbonate at times has released slow

making the LDN worthless in the patient's body. The best fast release fillers

are Lactose, Acidophilus, Gelatin, Avicel. If your mom is lactose intolerant

then go with Acidophilus as a second choice. Irmat pharmacy(listed on LDN

website) can use Acidophilus if you ask for it.
