Taking LDN for MS for three one-half months.

1. No appreciable weight loss, but increased appetite (better metabolism)

and no weight gain. (Can't afford to lose weight, only weigh 100 lbs.)

2. Have some symptom relief.

Thanks,

Marcia

Good morning, Just a few days short of three months on LDN I've lost a total of 18lbs. without trying, amazingly, since I'd not been able to before LDN! I believe the increased endorphin level has nearly eliminated my more than occasional food cravings! Without the cravings there's nothing to respond to, so no extra calories! Symptom relief has primarily been: better focus, and although stiffness has increased, (3mg.>3.5mg.>4mg/by end of 2nd month), so has my energy level. Stiffness a little better since backing dose to 3.25mg., will increase dosage at slower rate to note how or if it affects stiffness. Other factors may be interfering; ie; arterial plaques and arthritis, so I'm not putting the blame for stiffness entirely on LDN, (the positives outweigh the stiffness anyway!). Results from supplements specific to plaques and

arthritis not yet noted. I am Blessed and Thankful to those who introduced me to LDN and all who with encouragement and testimony continue to report on and assist with information. Thank you! I started LDN last November, and havee not seen any differences yet as I was also tapering off steroids at the time. I'm off the steroids now and have lost a few pounds but no other differences yet. The weight loss may be due to not being on the steroids and may not even be related to LDN...there is no wway to know at the moment.

I have taken LDN since 8/25/05, I have lost 8 lbs which I could take it or leave it, and significant symptom improvement. I now have bladder control, I'm now able to walk with a walker and starting with cane, my therapist says at the rate I've been improving I should be walking without assistance by spring. Prior to starting LDN I was on avonex and steadly going down hill, thank god for LDN.

My husband has experienced significant weight loss but many people

with MS do because of lost muscle tone (especially if they have

walking difficulties). Also, he has been on the Best bet diet for a

year and LDN at 3 mgs for about 7 months.
