Question about LDN & Fatigue

I started LDN just over two months ago. For the past two weeks I am

having trouble getting up in the morning. I am taking 3mg and will

increase to 4.5mg this week sometime. When I first started the LDN it

disrupted my sleep. Now I can't stay awake. I have to make myself get

out of bed in the mornings or I would sleep all day. By that I mean I

have to sit up or force myself to get out of bed, after much

convincing. Then by later in the afternoon and evening I feel as if I

could sleep some more. I never do take naps.

Has anyone else had this? Is there a reason for it, such as my body

requiring more sleep as my body gets use to a raise in endorphins?

Thanks,

Take Care,

Hi ,

What other things have you tried? Did you try the DLP yet? Also there is a

very good form of vitamin B called Benfotiamine. Many MS'rs have a vitamin B

deficiency. This form of vitamin B is non-toxic. Some people swear by it.

I will include an earlier chat regarding it to the group in a moment.

I don't know the reason but I was having the same problem on 4.5 mg

liquid. It continued for the first 3 months. Reducing to 3 mg has helped.

Hi Aletha,

I am taking provigil for fatigue but thats not new. I haven't tried

anything else because I attributed the new found morning fatigue to

the ldn, and I thought maybe it was a case of getting use to it or my

body recovering. I hate to add new things that I don't need. I just

wondered if anyone else has gone through this? I remember someone

saying your body has to get used to the increase in endorphins and by

doing that your body is working harder. So that would explain the

awful fatigue. That is if I remember right. Lol!

Thanks for responding Aletha!

Thank you for your reply Wesley, When I think of it drug induced

sounds like it fits the bill. Funny how I just got this recently but

I guess we are all different!

From what I have learned with people who have hypothyroidism its no

walk in the park either.

Good luck to you and your wife!

I also wanted to thank Aletha again for her info. My computer is

sick so have to sneak that in where I can ;op
