Guest guest
To charge for splints using HCPC level II code- an " L " code, you must have a DME number to bill under. OT's can bill under orthotic fitting and training code for fit and instruct in an off the shelf variety, or that off the shelf splint may fit an L code. The L code reimbursement levels are much greater. Get a DME number. Ususally reimbursers want the highest level of coding available. Historically, OT's would bill under 99070 supplies for reimbursement of the materials to make a splint- this isn't reimbursed as of late. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
