Guest guest
The consensus is look for stop of progression. Most people get that, a few don't. If you get any improvements, it's a bonus. Improvements can span the entire range. My wife, , experienced: -much better energy -95+% cure of an 8 month headache, 7-12 on a 1-10 scale, 24 hrs a day, first morning after! -vastly improved short term memory -much better balance -complete fix of very bad uncontrolled bowels -bladder problems went from sometimes on the verge of catheter to very few problems -lesions on 2 subsequent MRIs shrinking and disappearing -L hand strength from barely able to hold a drinking glass, to able to crush my 2 fingers -the soles of her feet were dead numb. I once had to cut a piece of glass out that was so deep and infected it had to have been there for a week (2 weeks?). She didn't feel it or the surgery. She only knew it was there because of the tiny blood trail (she usually doesn't wear shoes). Now she half-heartedly cusses me because I pushed her to try naltrexone every time she walks on gravel. She can even feel the texture of a cat's fur with her right foot. The left isn't quite so good, but she can definitely feel gravel with it. I don't mean to give you *false* hope, but if I can encourage you to be hopeful, there's nothing wrong with that. I think it is important for those that have positive stories to keep telling them. jenntravisbri wrote: >Hello, I am new to this forum and have recently started ldn 4.5. > >When I say recently, I mean December of 05. > >I have experienced spasticity and fatigue lessening and balence a >little better. Guest guest
She took 4.5 mg. compounded capsules from July 2004 until December 2005 then 4.5 mg. 'Revia' dissolved in water. It seemed it was too strong so about 3 weeks ago we reduced it to 4 mg. She had an exacerbation this summer, which I think was related to 105+ degree heat and the extreme stress of us both relocating the longest distance we ever have. She did IV steroids in early November for the 7th time in 9 years and is doing very well again now. There are some in this group who have said they experienced no symptom relief for many months (even years?), but eventually did. jenntravisbri wrote: > >> >> >> >>>Hello, I am new to this forum and have recently started ldn 4.5. >>> >>>When I say recently, I mean December of 05. >>> >>>I have experienced spasticity and fatigue lessening and balence a >>>little better.
