Hi, everyone...

ANNOUNCEMENT:

THIS THURSDAY TO THIS SUNDAY Sharon Young, PT, Cert. MDT, is very graciously

making herself available to discuss/answer questions on her research with Dr.

Aprill on the facet joint with McKenzieStudy members.

Sharon has just gotten back from presenting at the ISSLS, and will present at

the McKenzie 2000 conference on her research, as well. (I am signed up for

her session! :-)

Her article on the facet joint, which appeared in the MIUSA Journal, appears

on the McKenzieStudy web site, thanks Sharon and Allan Basselink, Exec Editor

of the Journal. That article puts the facet joint into the perspective of

the McK eval and mechanical behavior, and is quite pertinent to our clinical

thought processes, and resultant treatment.

Allan Basselink, PT, Dip. MDT, Executive Editor of the MIUSA journal, is also

going above and beyond being wonderful...even as his MIUSA journal is meeting

its deadlines and going to print, he will provide us with an introduction to

Sharon, her article, and a bit of perspective on mechanical behavior. I have

also asked him to explain a little about the MIUSA journal (as well as

MIUSA), since I have found it to be quite helpful in the McK learning

process. He will be helping us by asking Sharon some questions, but is

counting on our members to ask what interests them, as well.

Please join us for the discussion, and bring your questions, comments, and

curiosity!

Take care,

Murray-, PT
