Welcome Joan, I cannot imagine your desperation to help your child but I will say a prayer.

As far as LDN, it is successful with autoimmune diseases, some cancers .

I don't know where you got the info that LDN may supress the measles virus in his brain?

The best thing to do is read the www.low dose naltrexone.org site and then make a call to Dr. Bihari(# on the site) ask , before making appointment, if this is something LDN will help. The phone consults are pricey but worth it if there is a chance your son will profit from this. Dr. B is honest and will tell you the truth.

I had suggested that Joanie join this group as well as Autism_LDN because of LDN's antiviral properties and low incidence of side effects. She suspects measles, which is a virus.

It is very hard with children that are compromised to find a helpful path and that's what Joanie's trying to invewstigate.

Dr McCandless is having good results with kids using LDN.
