Guest guest
Hi Jeanie, I haven't been on ldn that long myself. The first 2 weeks I had the sleeplessness and abit of pain. I'm now on 4.5 and have had 2 nights of restless sleep but now I can't stay awake. I'm not sure what I would do if I were in your shoes. I'm usually the one who has trouble with medications. Sometimes too the stress of starting a new med. can make the side effects worse. Thats when I feel out of it. I guess I would go see my doc. and hope that he/she could guide me. They do say that you won't get worse than your worse day pre ldn. Is what you are experiancing now new or old? Sorry I don't have much to offer but wanted to say hugs! You are not a whine bag! Take Care > > I got my LDN from medmex , so I don't know the filler and make it > myself. I know I'm being a baby but I just feel like crap! I am up to > 2.5mg and have started out slowly. Guest guest
I suggest you reduce your dose to 1.5 for a month and then go to 3.0. You are starting out too quickly for what your body is telling you.Listen to your physical manifestations and be gentle with yourself. I was very sensitive to LDN at first and now it is wonderful. I sleep so well and it really helped balance my system. Best wishes, Kathy [low dose naltrexone] 10 days on LDN , tell me it will be ok.. >I got my LDN from medmex , so I don't know the filler and make it > myself. Guest guest
Bren, Do you think that I should lower my dosage with the weird feelings I have been having? I started Feb 1, and the first few days I felt alot better, balance, fatigue, etc. Do you think I am taking too much? I take 3 mg in lactose. I just have flu like symptoms, which also means I am very stiff and dizzy too. Reading back to this post, maybe this is the problem? What do you think?? Thanks again for your help, Jen >> I got my LDN from medmex , so I don't know the filler and make it > myself. I know I'm being a baby but I just feel like crap! If it's not the flu and after 5 to 7 days you still feel yucky I m going to suggest two things...first try going up to 4.5mg and if that's worse back down to 2.5mg or lower and see what happens. My extra stiffness lasted 3 whole months before it faded away. If you get up to 4.5mg and the stiffness is tolerable stick with 4.5mg and if within 6 months the stiffness does not die down then lower dosage.
