Guest guest
Dr McCandless is having success with autistic kids using transdermal LDN. I have a friend in Beverly Hills, CA whose holistic doctor has started using LDN in autistic individuals with success in improving symptoms. Dr. Bihari does not recommend transdermal application of LDN for cancer victims or those with MS, Lupus, RA, PLS, ALS, Parkinson's, Crohn's or any other autoimmune system diseases. Guest guest
, did Dr. Bihari say why he did not recommend transdermal LDN for autoimmune diseases and cancer ?? I have both problems?? Thanks, Sam. I have both problems?? Thanks, Sam. ===== The absorption through the skin is too slow. Dr. Bihari says LDN MUST release fast to work at halting disease progression. Guest guest
I don't usually post here as I am very busy with my autism LDN list, but I need to let you know that the medium used in the transdermal made by Coastal Compounding is with Emu Oil, and it goes in immediately, faster than oral capsules and just as fast as an oral liquid. Guest guest
I don't post here, only read; but felt I should let those who don't know that Dr.McCandless and Dr.Bihari both, are just looking for answers and trying to help. So far, the TD that Dr.McC helped develop is working, not only for autistic children, but adults with various DX's. Me, for one....crohns. I just hope everybody will keep an open mind as informal studies are being done right now, that include some adults as well as children. Pre and post immune panels are being run along with cbc etc. for 16 weeks. The results, may help everybody. This TD is absorbed within 20/30 mins, right into the bloodstream. The use of a TD for the children, are of course more important than for an adult, because, they are asleep when it needs to be applied. The surprise with autism has been, that we are seeing behavioral, cognitive, language and other wonderful things for these children that were not expected. (my grandchild....one of those kids!) I would hope, the more information we gather, the better chance we have for this treatment to be more accepted and of benefit to even more with immune system problems. Autism now effects 1 in every 166 children. We need all the help we can get! Are you seeing your Crohn's symptoms get better with the TD application? If you've done both the capsule LDN and the TD LDN which works best or are they the same? This is interesting because all the folks on my forum and GoodShape's forum that tried TD LDN for their MS got symptom improvement but no halt in disease progression, that's why I stopped suggesting TD LDN for MS. Your feedback would be helpful especially for those with Crohn's and possibly IBS. What mg of LDN do you take?

Dr. Jaquelyn > McCandless ========= Thank you, the bunch with MS that the MS progression was not halted by using Transdermal LDN were using Lecithin Oil or Evening Primrose Oil at pharmacies recommendations. If more people with autoimmune diseases start seeing success with this Emu Oil in TD application of LDN I will add that TD LDN section back to my LDN forum. I will speak to Bihari first before I do that to be sure he's okay with that. Best to you in your LDN research.

The only reason I'm on oral now, is $$'s; finding out that many of you order from mex. I take 4.5 mg
Guest guest
I should add, that I do often wonder if getting into remission with a G.I. issue might have been helped by using the TD first. Just so it didn't have to go through the gut. fwiw > > Ann, > > > > Have you done both the capsule LDN and the Transdermal(TD)?
