I just have this awful feeling. I rang the NCC last night and spoke to a nurse that I know personally and she told me that the MIL was very aggitated and screaming out and was still having oxygen. They gave her a shower and put her into her bed she was calm for a little while but after awhile she started singing out they rang for some one to come and sit with her and that was ok for awhile too but then she started to yell out again. I am very scared for my Husband as its his Mum and our little boy who is special needs and has a great relationship with hsi Nan. I am not sure if I can do this but this is the web site so you can read about him. www.monicagracefund.com It is old now as he is 13 . Thanx for helping me. Hugs Lyn -- Re: Re: hello Yes, Lyn, it means something. It can be related to her heart, lungs, or hypothermia, just to name three. She is being given oxygen which signifies a serious problem of not getting enough oxygen to various parts of her body. Keep us posted as to what the Doctor says. They will be running test, and will say something soon. Guest guest
Thank you Sharon its nice to meet you too. is our little boy and as other do boy do we know he is around lol. But I wouldn't have it any other way as he has made me understand life and other people much more. Being Autistic is hard because of what he is trying to understand of our world. Guest guest
Lyn, I lived next door to a little Autistic girl for a number of years, and did get a much better understanding of the problem, through her coming over to " visit " , and from listening to her mother relate how it was. But, I dare say, it was a far cry from what you know and experience. The little girl avoided most people, but for some reason she seemed to like being around me. I don't understand why. Babies and animals always took to me, (not adults so much) But, what it was that this little girl felt, I never learned. We couldn't converse, but she would tag along. I shared a few things with her, but her mother would soon call her home. Bless her little heart, she walked with a dragging shuffle and always had her twisted little arms up around her face, but she knew some of us, and did " visit. " When she was twelve, her parents put her in the hospital for a hysterectomy, because they were afraid of her so being helpless and being raped. And also, to avoid having periods that her mother felt were beyond her capability to handle. She did attend classes. I will always remember hearing " Donna, come home. Guest guest
lyn, autism is a very difficult disease to understand let alone if it is complicated with other issues, i have a good friendofmine who is raising 2 autistic boys, and both of them re quite different. her youngest has severe seizures and even has had the implant surgery for severe seizures trying to disupt the brains impules for seizures she has been a single parent since her youngest was 3 he is now 10, and lives with her mom who is now helping her raise the boys. there aredays the youngest one doesnt sleep for 72 hours in a row. andbecause of other health issues he cannot take many meds. soi can relate a little on what you are going thru. God Bless You, and remember that He only gives 'specail' children to those who can love and understand them all of God's children are blessings, no matter what their health/mental issues are. i commend you for your love and understandng for your children and your mum in law. good luck and prayers to you, sharon m ---- Hugs Lyn wrote: Thank you Sharon its nice to meet you too. is our little boy and as other do boy do we know he is around lol.
