HI,

For anyone who read about my brother, he is home after being in CICU on a

ventilater for a week.

He is home and not to be negative, i think the politics and buracuracy are

jeoaperdizing his condition.

His BP min are 107 and the home health nurse is concerned because he hasnt been

to the dr since he was sent home a week ago. Today is his first appnt. She said

he should have been having blood work done often and actually he was moved from

cicu only hrs after he began to breath on his own. Then to a regular room for

two days and released. Also i fogot to mention his dr who release him was the

one who knew he has been and perscribes the oxicotton for a long time and had

doubled the dose from 40mg to 80mg and and inbetween dose for inbetween pain. I

believe he contracted the virial mengitis from taking the oxicotton. He was

vomiting as he was being discharged, and by morning he was in toxic sepis

respitortary distress and kidney failure, which they said normally only 10%

people survive. I was told as they got him ready for dilasis his kidneys began

to function in the ER, but he still had to be intubated to breath becasue he had

stopped breathing.

He was supposed to be sent directly to a theropy place but his ins. said he is

doing to well. That they were not happy with but they didnt argue. (I would

have).

I have no control of course, his wife does, but a nurse did tell her to advocate

for him. I dont think she is very aware of the way ins. runs our health care.

Ive told them a lot and i guess that is all i can do.

I told him he probally has a heriditary connective tissue conditioin and i wrote

his dr a note, who told them he would look into it.

If it were me, i would not have this dr anylonger!

He still need prayer if anyone does!

Joyce
