Hello everyone,

I am 30 years old, have 2 young girls (3 & 20 months) and was diagnosed with

RRMS this

past year. My main relapse symptom is numbness that starts in one area and

spreads to a

portion of my body then slowly goes away during the next two months. But my

biggest

complaint is fatigue and mood swings. I typically feel my energy take a dive

around lunch

time even when I am able to lay down to rest and I can be in a great mood one

minute

then something stresses me out or irritates me and I am a major grouch for days

afterward. I haven't started taking LDN yet but I am really hopeful it will

help even out my

energy and moods. I am so tired of being irritable and I know it is affecting

my girls. I am

also nervous about taking it. Doctors are the ones that go to school to learn

how to treat

people and here I am doing a little reading on the internet and thinking I might

know

more.

Regarding the weight loss discussion. Someone mentioned that they were also on

the best

bet diet. I've been following the diet in the " Gold Coast Cure " which is

basically the Swank

diet but it takes it a little further with whole grains, no processed

sugar/flour and good

oils (olive oil, expeller pressed oils) since October '05. I've only lost 8

pounds but I wasn't

that big to begin with but I've gone down 2 clothing sizes. I haven't been this

size since I

was 16. Keeping your saturated fats low definitely makes a huge difference. I

hope I don't

loose any more after LDN; I don't want to waste away to nothing. :-)

It has been great reading everyone's posts. Thank you for all the information

and for

sharing your experiences.

Amy
